What's Your Favorite Game Swag?
One of our readers sent in a great question for Tiny and I to answer on our podcast and I thought it would make a great article. Justin asked:
This might be a little off-topic, but I'd like to hear about your favorite gaming paraphernalia.Maybe its your official Final Fantasy VII "Cloud" underpants. Maybe its the little "Squirtle" that dangles from your backpack. Still have an Atari joystick in your closet? I'd like to hear some stories!
For Tiny, it was his sweat towel, for me I chose my Secret Agent Clank Cufflinks. We are both also very partial to our Big Daddy figures that we got with our Limited Edition BioShock sets. So how about you, dear readers? What is your favorite piece of gaming swag? Let us know in the comments!

I would have to say that my favorite swag is the tote bag I got with my copy of GTAIV. I use it to keep all my Magic Card. it's awesome..

It would have to be a tie between my Weighted Companion Cube plushie and my Phoenix Down shirt. The shirt, while not technically corporate swag, is designed by Mutagenics and is inspired by the famous FF item:

I think my favourite swag would be the freebies handed out at a Rockstar 80's themed party for the launch of GTA Vice City. All attendees dressed in suitable 80's attire, there was a meal followed by entertainment including the B-52's performing all sorts of 80's classic hits and a surf board machine.
The menu (which I have a copy of) included; Prawn Cocktail, Chicken Cordon Bleu followed by Black Forest Gateaux. Plus there was a bar all dressed like an 80's cocktail bar.
So my swag includes: a menu, a free promo copy of GTA Vice City, a Vice City cocktail mixer, A vice city razor blade keyring (goodness knows what that's for ;) ) and a vice city money clip.
Oh, where do I start...? My old school Legend of Zelda beach towel from 1989? My Japanese Castlevania: Symphony of the Night limited edition, with art book and soundtrack? My giant import Sonic, Tails and Knuckles plush toys? Or my factory sealed Japanese copy of Chrono Trigger for the SFC?
I dunno...I have a lot of gaming swag, probably too much.

not exactly swag, but i do have the headphones the main character wears in persona 3.
and they are awesome.
I have a few favorites! My top ones are my Mario doll I got when I was really little (my nephew likes to play with it now lol) I also have a "baby murloc at the beach" figurine from World of Warcraft. And I also love my Japanese GBA re-relase of the original Kid Icarus. Other then that I have Super Mario pajama pants that are like my most favorite thing to relax in! lol

Way back in 1997 to celebrate the release of MegaMan 8 (and Mega's 10th anniversary on the video-game scene), Capcom America offered 1000 painted resin kits of MegaMan with the purchase of the game. The kit was one of six different resin statuettes made for Capcom by Avatar Creations. I was lucky and fast and got my hands on one right away.
It's my favorite piece and probably most heavily protected of what I have, it comes out of the box from Capcom maybe a few times a year until I get a display case to put it in.

I'm fond of my pac-man fuzzy dice hanging from my mirror...it keeps my megaman bobblehead company!

My favs these days are:
-My metal safebox from GTA4;
-My little coin purse from "Silent Hill Zero" (came with the soundtrack and it´s brown-rusty with silver logo and nurse);
-Old Snake figurine from the MGS4 Special Edition(game,figurine,soundtrack,dvd)...
