Xbox + Credit Card = Bad Credit In India
I don't know how many of our readers are in India, but run away! ICICI Bank wishes to "enable customers to enjoy the benefits of Digital Entertainment products". How do they plan on doing this? A visa credit card with Microsoft Xbox branding.
Not only do the residents of india get a card that lets them make all kinds of irrational credit destroying purchases, they will get discounts for making online Xbox related products. Things like Wireless controllers get a 10% discount and purchasing games will get fetch you a nice 15% off. All this has to be purchased through the online store.
(Un?)fortunately, this card appears to be limited to India only. That means no discounts for me and most of the world. Honestly, I would rather just wait for a sale than throw something on credit, but that's just me. Spoofee FTW!
