Your Favorite Games, LEGO Style
It seems like everything's coming up LEGO for me lately. I've been playing quite a little bit of LEGO Indiana Jones lately and I awoke this morning to find a missive in my mailbox from reader Scott C. pointing to a Flickr gallery containing some great LEGO art. What makes this particular LEGO art so special is that the artist has recreated scenes from various video games including Duck Hunt, Castlevania, Katamari and Shadow of the Colossus.
Now before some of you get your panties in a bunch, yes I realize that these pics are a couple years old. But, I certainly hadn't seem them before and I'm sure there are some of you out there who haven't seen them either. So for those of you who haven't seen them, click through to the gallery. Here they are. I've never seen these before either. The Mortal Kombat one makes me smile. :)
Those are awesome! The Excitebike one made me laugh out loud, with the player running back to his bike after a crash. Good times. :)
Son of a bitch! I saw the screenshot before reading the article, and thought it was actually a game! I've never had the expected future hedonic value of my life shoot up so dramatically and then plummet so immediately.
