Avast Ye Butt Pirates! Plunder Changes Name To Age Of Booty
Seemingly oblivious to the ass-related puns that will surely follow, Capcom has changed the name of their upcoming pirate themed downloadable strategy game from the generic but inoffensive Plunder to the more suggestive but slightly ridiculous Age of Booty. Presumably they're referring to the first definition of the word:
boo·ty (bū'tē) pronunciation n., pl. -ties.1. Plunder taken from an enemy in time of war.
2. Goods or property seized by force or piracy.
3. A valuable prize, award, or gain.
and not the second:
1. Slang. The buttocks.
The game should be identical to the one Asterick described earlier this year, but maybe they'll add an option for your pirates to make some drunken calls to "friends" at 4 am. The game should still be out later this summer on XBLA, PSN, and PC, so you may want to polish up your peg-leg in anticipation.

Actually, it's probably a smart move. Now, instead of seeing "Plunder" and ignoring it, people on XBL and PSN will see "Age of Booty" and be more likely to chuckle and click it out of curiosity. They won't necessarily purchase afterwards, but there' a better chance that they buy after the curiosity click than just going past it.

Well, it's just not fair to keep all the piratey goodness for ourselves, we should share with the double-x team. Hence, pirate lady for the lady pirate lovin' ladies. It's also probably the best photo of semi-nekkid pirates around :-)
They should just have put up a still of Orlando Bloom in full Pirates of the Caribbean mode, imo...
