E3 '08: Bayonetta - Now With Actual Video!
Oh my freaking God, Dante's a drag queen. Or Cher is starring in an stylish action game. It's hard to tell.
She fights with her hair.
This is officially the most "fabulous" thing I've seen all week: Bayonetta is a witch in a PVC bodysuit who walks with more sashay than a dozen runway models or drag queens would ever dare. Her similarity to Dante is not only palpable but seriously awesome, and no surprise considering that Devil May Cry guru Hideki Kamiya is the game's director.
Platinum Games (nee Clover) has put together a game that at the very least cannot be ignored. Whether it'll be fun to play is anybody's guess, but it certainly makes a great first impression.
Did I mention that she fights with her hair?
Bayonetta can summon torture devices such as a guillotine or an iron maiden, which dispatch her enemies in a spectacular fashion, but it's the follicular displays that make the biggest impact. Like Amy Winehouse with prehensile hair and a redirected sense of frustration, Bayonetta sends her long black hair through portals, only to pop out behind an enemy in the shape of a giant boot. Or fist. Or dragon.
And sometimes she screams "Oh yes!" like she's having an orgasm. While she fights with her hair.
If someone doesn't do a very good Christian Siriano impression soon, I'm going to have to state the obvious: Bayonetta has more tranny fierceness above her forehead than Chelsea or the Castro have ever seen, and hips that saunter so exaggeratedly that it's impossible not to gape.
Her hair. She fights with it. I'm in love.
PS3 and Xbox 360, 2009. The year of the drag queen action game. Wigstock eat your heart out. Or let Bayonetta do the job, 'cuz she is not apologizing for it.

i am going with that TD has link the wrong video. No harm still love the big lug.
Well, that was a no-show video...
I havent been this excited since Gypsies Tramps and Thieves for the 2600, HOW! *flips hair/licks lips*
It's like I wouldve made a game at the age of 14. Kicking hands and feet, guns blazing. And her hair. It is a weapon.
