There's not a lot of information yet about the recently announced Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades, but here's a teaser video from E3 with just a little bit of new information. I was actually surprised at how well Guitar Hero translated onto the DS with On Tour. Although after seeing these guys "jamming out" with their DS's, I suspect I looked just as much of a tool on my subway ride home tonight. The game is rather short, though I find I don't mind as much because you can't play it for very long before your hand cramps up horribly. So I'm looking forward to another release with some more songs. There's no track listing as yet, but I would assume that by the title, we'll be looking at songs broken up by decades. I do believe I will be spending most of my time in the '70s and '80s, thank you very much.
In addition, Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades will have a new "song sharing" feature that will allow you to play Decades songs with someone who only has the original On Tour. That's a pretty nifty addition. Although I'm a little wary of the guy who gets so excited about taking advantage of the DS' microphone. Please do not add singing. I beg of you. I won't do it. Like it's not already embarrassing enough to play this in public!
