E3 '08: Video: Silent Hill: Homecoming

I can't even tell you how upset I am to be stuck back in the castle and being forced to watch grainy internet video of Silent Hill: Homecoming while Fruit Brute and Tiny Dancer get to enjoy it firsthand. (It's okay, though. I haven't been feeding their Pokemans.)

I present to you Konami's trailer for the latest game in the Silent Hill series, and it's way more polished than the early gameplay video I showed you a while back. The lighting looks fantastic. I am a huge Silent Hill junkie, and I can't wait until September 22 to get my fix.

After the jump, I've got a couple gameplay videos for you. The first is what would seem to be the beginning of the game as you follow a little boy named Joshua into an abandoned hotel and encounter trouble. The second is an awesomely terrifying elevator ride that takes you to a floor where things get creepy before ending... badly.

Okay, I can't embed the elevator video, so you'll have to follow this link. Sorry!

:-) That looked awesome! Thanks for posting it. You're right, they have been working it. It looks much more atmospheric than its previous trailers and the lighting is splendid, the textures richer. Looking forward to this baby.
