Yay, my question got asked! ^_^
I do suppose the differences in culture play a large role. And why the RE guys didn't see the racism. (Whereas a Western developer would be much more reluctant to use that kind of setting.)
Anyway, loved the podcast.

Wow that was very interesting about the homophobia in U.S. games compared to Japan.
Hey can you guys talk a little on World of Warcraft, I think other listeners/readers would be interested in knowing about all the gay guilds out there. I am looking for one in Oceana and cannot find any, but belong to one in the US servers, but they are all asleep when I play. :(
