Konami Brings The WiiWare: Gradius Rebirth

gradius-reborn.jpg

It's really sad that this, aside from Animal Crossing: City Folk, is my personal must-get-release-day Wii title. Okay, I know that there is not much on it's way as far as Nintendo Wii titles go, but Gradius Rebirth looks freaking fantastic. It was tucked quietly away in the dark corners of E3 and I'm glad someone thought it important enough to write about it.

Little is known of the game except what can be drawn from the screen shot; it will look surprisingly similar to the first title. Is it a remake? It's likely, what I've seen looks a lot like area 3. Lets not forget the "rebirth" part of the title. If it is a remake, I hope they go the extra mile to add some extra content.

It's so odd, for a console with rep for casual games, I've purchased more shumps and shooters for Wii than any other system.

Anywho, I so want this. Even if it's a Megaman 9-like take on the series, I don't care. Remake or not, I just want this now.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
