Video - Siren: Blood Curse Trailer
Well, the GayGamer house is full of suitcases and travel aids as Tiny and Fruit get ready to head off to E3, and luckily some of us are staying behind to help clean-up house while they are away. In my labors, I've come across a new trailer for Siren: Blood Curse which is a game that I know Fruit Brute has been keeping his eye on for some time. The game is going to be an episodic release on the PSN and takes place in a remote Japanese mountain village where a strange ritual ends in bloodshed and ghostly siren wails (standard fare for mountain villages). One neat feature added to the game is something called "sight-jack" that lets players control multiple characters by seeing the action through their eyes. Look for the game come July 24th on the PSN. Enjoy the trailer and let's hope I don't find anymore skeletons while cleaning out this place.

I played through the entire original Siren, despite my dislike of it, and I'm really curious to see how the full game of Siren: Blood Curse differs in terms of gameplay.
I downloaded the demo the other night and played through it once. I couldn't turn off my flashlight or sightjack yet. Combat is as clumsy as it was in the first game, but you can pick up and switch out weapons from knocked-out shibito. So that's cool.
@Shawn: Hit the directional pad to bring up a menu, and then hit up to turn the flashlight on/off.
I enjoyed the demo thoroughly, but the default camera controls were much too sensitive for my tastes. I liked how there were such a wide variety of weapons to use, though (supposedly each having a distinct finishing move).
