New Releases For The Week Of 07/21/08

ffivcover.jpg

The post E3 offerings are rather slim this week, but I suppose that's to be expected. If I was to pick one stand out title this week it would be Final Fantasy IV on the DS. Not so much because I love FF but more because everyone else does. I'm sure it will do well as most of these remakes seem to. Anything you'll be picking up to try out?

  • Final Fantasy IV (DS)
  • City Life 2008 Edition (PC)
  • Baseball Mogul 2009 (PC)
  • Ubersoldier 2: The End of Hitler (PC)
  • Izuna 2: The Unemployed Ninja Returns (DS)
  • Order Up! (Wii)
  • The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (PS2, Wii, DS)
  • New International Track & Field (DS)
  • Kidz Sports: Crazy Golf
  • Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society (DS)
  • 1942: Joint Strike (PS3, X360)

I'm actually pretty interested in Izuna 2. It looks like an NES dungeon crawl, and damn it, I just have to check that out.

I'm excited for FFIV DS. I've been waiting something like 18 months for this game after it was initially announced. This is one of my favorite games of all time (if you frequent the forums, this is not news to you) and I'm pleased as punch its getting this kind of remake.

And hey, everyone else will be glad I'll no longer be obsessing over it. Chrono Trigger DS will now get that honor.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
