Video: Hello, Captain Rainbow!
What is Captain Rainbow, you ask?
Why, Captain Rainbow is the first foray into Wii gaming by skip ltd., of Chibi Robo and GiFTPiA fame!
Nick, on a quest to regain children viewers to the Captain Rainbow TV program, travels to Mimin Island, which is said to grant the dreams of visitors. Instead of Nick finding his wishes being granted, he must work as Captain Rainbow, with his trusty yo-yo, to help those living on the island to see their dreams come true. As a trip down memory lane (for us older gamers, at least), Mimin Island is populated by classic Nintendo franchise characters, ranging from a Birdo named Catherine, ROB and the obscure old man from Golf on the NES.
North America and Europe missed out on an international release for GiFTPiA on the Gamecube, but hopefully the success of Chibi Robo and Chibi Robo: Park Patrol has softened Nintendo to launching more skip ltd. titles worldwide.

Chibi-Robo was one of my favorite gamecube games. This is a day one purchase!
This is so awesomely weird. (And yet I see y'all found it before I submitted it--heh.) I loved Chibi-Robo to pieces as well. (In fact, I claim nerd points for recognizing that TV as the one in the Sanderson's living room, complete with tacky wallpaper!) But the addition of ultra-obscure Nintendo characters just makes this one a must-buy.
The mind boggles. Also, way to make Birdo look even freakier, Nintendo. And it's not a Catherine named "Birdo," but Birdo being called her Japanese name. She's always been Birdo there.

This should probably make it to Europe thankfully [America has no chance imho if Tingle's game never got over there, lol] XD
