Video: Power Glove Lesson

I'm sorry, but I had to share this. It just cracked me up. It's a clip from the early '90s series Video Power featuring host Johnny Arcade. (His real name is Stivi Paskoski, but don't Google Image him, because you'll see him as he is now, a grizzled, scary Russian dude who was on the series Brotherhood.) Johnny Arcade "zaps" up Novak, who is actually William Novak, creator of the NES Power Glove, to show some tips on how to use the accessory. I love that he keeps calling him just Novak, like he's Cher or Madonna or something. Never William or even Bill. Heck, not even Mr. Novak. Way to show respect to your elders, you punk kid!

Anyway, Novak demonstrates the glove, but then Johnny Arcade has to interrupt to make him do it the Video Power way. Which, being the early '90s, means lots of bright, clashing, primary colors and shouting catchphrases. It's all terribly embarrassing, and poor Bill looks like they're not paying him nearly enough for this brief appearance. Poor guy. Enjoy his misery, you guys!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
