Warhammer Online Finished & Ready To Ship, In Theory

I've been fooling around with Warhammer Online since, oh, last year's Comic Con San Diego, and from my brief but frenetic bursts of time with the game, I'm really looking forward to it. I wouldn't dare to use words like "WoW" and "killer" together in one statement, but I'm nevertheless looking forward to the wicked-sounding character classes (even though four classes have been yanked)and the RvR city-sacking gameplay that Mythic has promised.
So it's good news to hear Mythic's Paul Barnett boast that the game is "finished" and could be shipped today if that were possible:
"The game's finished," said the developer. "It's just being polished and cooked."We're in a position now where every day we get to polish it it polishes a little nicer. At some point you say, 'That's polished enough now. See you later.'"
Barnett wouldn't be drawn on a specific release date, but said he would be comfortable if the game shipped now.
Of course we don't get the courtesy of a release date, but my fellow MMO-heads should at least appreciate the impending Warhammeriness. Dare we hope for a relatively small amount of post-release balancing issues?

I can't wait for this game. Unfortunately I never got to beta test it because game stop NEVER sent me the beta code.
