Weekly XBLA Update - 07/09/08

The first of this week's new XBLA titles, Schizoid, is the first Arcade game made with the XNA Game Studio. It's also been touted as one of the best co-op action titles in recent memory: think 2-player arcade shooter with enemies that match the color of one of the two players + simple, addictive gameplay mechanic. Yours for 800 MP
Also for 800 MP is this week's AARP set darling, Golf: Tee It Up!, which takes the age-old golf game and adds some super duper mega zany features like customizable golfers, a variety of lush environments and 2-4 player co-op and versus modes both locally and online. Future DLC rounds out the course.
Rock Band fans don't get anything fancy this week, just five tracks: two from the Red Hot Chili Peppers ("Snow," "Tell Me Baby"), two from Rush ("Working Man," "Closer to the Heart"), and one from Vesuvius ("Promised Land"). They'll run you 160 MP apiece.

Schizoid is INCREDIBLE. The Uberschizoid mode hurts my brain though. =/
