WipEout HD Redesign: Less Seisures, More Tracks Trophies and Ships!
Eventually, people get sick of me talking about WipEout HD. Poo on you I say! I love this series, and even though Designers Republic no longer does the design, I still think it's the bee's knees. Fusion you get back in your corner. As well all are well aware of at this point, It has been delayed because of a minor mouth foaming, gran maul problem.
Sony, in light of the delay, released an "expanded" reason for the delay:
The reason for the delay of WipEout HD on PS3 has been due to the many improvements we have been making and the numerous features we've added to the game. These include: 8 reverse tracks, 4 extra ships, 2 alternative HUDS, 2 Player offline split screen and XMB Trophy support. We look forward to sharing WipEout HD with you very soon.Regarding the speculation about health issues, we can assure you that we take consumer safety very seriously and monitor it very carefully.
Pfft. Adding features, what kind of a bunk excuse is that. I'm not sure if I would call reverse tracks a "feature", considering it's existing tracks just played backwards. I am, however, not going to argue with this. More features, more game for my buck.

I second the motion. I think we should have a Wipeout related story on the front page until HD gets released.

Wipeout is the only racing game I play, period. I can't wait to see it in 1080p, even if I do have a few momentary blackouts or involuntary spasms. Can't they just slap a warning on it like previous versions? Perhaps ship it with coupons for anti-seizure medication? No?
Oh well, guess I'll have to wait.
