Battle Of The Cinematic Trailers At Leipzig
Yesterday, Blizzard announced that the cinematic trailer for Wrath of the Lich King would be unveiled at Leipzig this Thursday. In a similar announcement, Mythic Entertainment has said they'll be debuting a new trailer for the upcoming WarHammer Online MMO at Leipzig as well.
I've already heard some theorizing as to why Blizzard would be showing the Wrath cinematic so early, since they seem to like to save big announcements for Blizzcon (so is some other huge announcement impending?). I've also heard people rumbling that they want to see gnomes finally show up in this one. Personally I think it's marketing, to make sure Mythic doesn't get all the glory at the conference.
Speaking of the WarHammer Cinematic, there is actually a French version here. It's not high quality and is edited for content (a lot of violence cut out apparently, to meet European broadcasting guidlines), but even what they show is pretty impressive, definitely on par with the quality of Blizzard's cinematics. I absolutely LOVE the Dark Elf Sorceress (also seen to the right) rocking the Barbarella style hair. So hot.

Personally speaking, there's only one cinematic trailer at Leipzig worth talking about... House of The Dead: Overkill!
Anywho, yeah...Blizzcon likely has bigger (SC2?) and better (D3?) stuff to show off and they don't want Lich King to get lost or overlooked. This makes sense.
