Bedingfield Is Boogie SuperStar's, um, Superstar

Well, today EA announced the track listing for the upcoming Wii game Boogie SuperStar, with the revelation that their secret international superstar is none other than Natasha Bedingfield. Eh. If anything, that's gonna put me off the game, because I really don't need to hear "Pocketful of Sunshine" again. Ever.
"Boogie SuperStar brings to life all the fun and excitement of performing," said Bedingfield. "Being on stage is such a thrill and it's great to be a part of an EA video game that lets girls experience how much fun it is to express themselves and explore their own creativity by performing."
You know, boys are probably going to play this game too, Natasha. The sequel to Boogie has players singing and dancing along with the songs, and the motion sensors in the controllers will actually map your dance moves to your on-screen character. If they can pull it off, it could be super fun, but I'm honestly not wild about the track list. It's a little too modern for my taste. Where's the classic Motown and disco? God, I'm old. (Although I love me some Rihanna!)
It's also long, so I'll put it after the break. Heck, since you guys are so awesome, I'll even include the international tracks!
Natasha Bedingfield Lends Star Power as Spokesperson for EA's Boogie Superstar for Wii
LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 27, 2008 - The Casual Entertainment Label of Electronic Arts, Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) unleashes the star power behind its upcoming BoogieTM SuperStar game for WiiTM today with the announcement of international music sensation Natasha Bedingfield as the game's featured spokesperson. Additionally, EA unveils the full Boogie SuperStar soundtrack including nearly 40 hit singles made famous by today's hottest artists.
Bedingfield, who has topped the Billboard charts with number one singles and albums in both the U.S. and the U.K., has joined forces with EA to promote the game, which allows girls to perform their favorite Bedingfield songs including her current single "Angel," "Love Like This," and the title track from her new hit album Pocketful of Sunshine.
"Boogie SuperStar brings to life all the fun and excitement of performing," said Bedingfield. "Being on stage is such a thrill and it's great to be a part of an EA video game that lets girls experience how much fun it is to express themselves and explore their own creativity by performing."
In Boogie SuperStar, players don't just play along, they are the star of the game. Girls will have a blast belting their favorite tunes into the microphone, and performing real dance moves that are captured on screen using the Wii's motion-sensing technology. The journey to stardom doesn't have to be a solo! Girls can also sing and dance with their friends or against them in fun competitions that show-off their singing and dancing talent.
"Boogie SuperStar represents a new level in the convergence of games and music," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive for Music and Marketing. "EA has combined the very best game interactive capabilities of the Wii technology and the Boogie brand to form an unprecedented soundtrack with the hottest new tracks made famous by the biggest artists in the world today. We've been actively involved in Natasha's career since its inception, and we're proud to have a star like her actively involved."

The first Boogie was garbage. Hopefully now they've had the time to get it right.
I have a gay crush on Natasha Bedingfield.
Haven't heard any of her US stuff but her UK material was brilliant.
