I finally got myself a PS3, the awesome MGS4 80GB Bundle.
This would be great except for the fact that they are only selling the gimped version without the backwards compatibility.
Dude...you get a $250 dollar blu-ray player AND all of the gaming capabilities of the PS3 and PSN. Stop whining about backwards compatibility. Keep your PS2.
I used this deal to get my PS3 last year as well.
BE WARNED THOUGH:
It was a huge pain in the ass to set my account up so i could pay it online...I had to call 3 different times to finally get them to make it work, and as a result was late on a payment. If you're late on a payment...the "12 months no interest" perk is null and void...and you'll have an expensive interest earning behemoth to pay off. Basically, and this isn't new news, be on top of your credit card payment because they are counting on you screwing up.
No backwards compatibility? Not interested, thanks.
