PSP-3000 Gets More (Than We Mentioned Before)

Ok, so I guess at this point I have to recant my statement that the PSP-3000 (where did the 1 go?) is wildly unimpressive. It is still not an amazing must have purchase for me, but then again, I still have yet to adopt the PSP Slim. On top of all the fantastic new improvements PixelPoet mentioned yesterday the PSP-3000 is going to have even more to speak of!
Yes, he did mention that they were supplying a new LCD with this model, which is fantastic. The thing that was not mentioned previously is that the LCD will run at double the refresh speed as previous LCDs, that means that the weird inky Okami style blur should be a thing of the past. Personally, I was rather fond of the black ghosting, but what do I know.
Additionally, the new PSP will come in the wide array of colors you see below. I know this isn't much of a stretch, considering that the slim came in these colors, but it's still nice to know that there are options available besides the flat black. It is worth mentioning that only Piano Black and Mystic Silver will be available in North America, pearl white is exclusive to Europe and Asia.
Get A Good Look At The New PSP-3000 [Kotaku]

Nice. I was planning on getting the PSP-2000 but with details of this new PSP-3000 coming out, I'm glad that I've held off. The only thing is, now do I wait for them to come out with a PSP-4000?

Heh heh, planned obsolescence in action. Don't you just hate it?
I myself recently acquired a PSP Slim. I have absolutely no interest any new handhelds until the next generation of is officially announced. I would totally cream if MS said they're working on a portable console (with wi fi). Totally.
Hmmmm...
PSP-3000 + Crisis Core = Time for me to finally get a handheld gaming device....
Okami is on the PSP?
@scooby: No, I was just saying that the weird black inky trails left on the PSP LCD was a lot like the black inky trails left on Okami. xD
