Amazon Reveals PS3 Keypad Price, Date
Website Gaming Bits stumbled upon the release date and price of the PS3 keypad thanks to an entry on Amazon.com. According to the listing the mini keyboard will retail for a penny under fifty bucks and will be available on November 30th. Looks like Sony is giving gamers something to hunt for in their post Thanksgiving shopping craziness. Keep in mind that Amazon is known for changing release dates so view the 30th as more of a ballpark figure until Sony confirms the date.
As for the keypad itself, I'm not completely sold. Fifty dollars seems like an awful lot to spend when I can just pick up a USB keyboard for around twenty and have an extra thirty dollars to actually spend on games. How much is typing messages to friends actually worth? Am I being stingy or is Sony being a bit greedy?

Hm. I got the Logitech Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard (in sexy piano black) for slightly more than this and use the crap out of it. $50 seems pretty steep for this add-on, and if the price turns out to be real I'll probably pass on it. Shame too, it's kinda cute.
Well I geuss they think it's worth $50 so you don't have a big clunky keyboard in your lap, but since my systems are stacked next to my computer Where I chill it's not that hard for me to use my current keyboard, but I geuss people who love the mini items of the world will eat this up (nothing more annoying then having to put down your controller to type a message, stinks for people with that problem)
