Questing For Booty With Ratchet And Clank
It's Friday, which means the weekend is almost upon us and that usually signals the beginning of most people's quest for booty. While Sony can't help you this weekend in getting a piece of that, they are talking about a quest for booty they will have for you in a few weeks. That's right, the Sony blog has recently announced that on August 21st Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty will go up for sale on the PSN, meaning that you will have some cheap booty to pickup for your PS3.
Quest for Booty marks Insomniacs foray into the downloadable episodic content sphere and will be a continuation of the Ratchet & Clank Future series. Ratchet will be trying to save Clank (yet again) all while dealing with pirates and their outrageous accents and puzzles. Apparently Ratchet is getting a couple of new weapons to help him deal with his scurvy-ridden foes. One weapon will be a 'kinetic tether' on his wrench that he can use to manipulate objects around him. Another will harness light and shadows around him, probably to aid him in blowing stuff up. Overall the game looks like a shorter version of the many other superb games that Insomniac loves to milk from the Ratchet teat. For the price of $14.99, the game sounds like some booty I'm sure will keep me busy for a few hours that weekend.

Omigod I cannot wait for this. R&C is one of my favorite franchises, and the end of R&C: Future left me wanting for even more.
