The Last Guy* Gets Englishy This Month!
Those that know me will pretty much attest that if a game has a neat font, is excessively vectory (vectorish? vectoreqsue?) or has zombies, I'm on it like a prom date. Seriously, it's a problem. Thankfully, this strangely elusive yet fantastic game fulfills all these requirements is hitting the Playstation Store this month. This game is titled The Last Guy.
Not to be mistaken with Y: The Last Man (fantastic comic, seriously), The Last Guy is all about helping little survivors make it to a safe zone, lest they be eaten by a horde of zombies. The entire game is played on satellite view maps of major cities around the globe, and as far as design goes it is extremely minimal.
The game has been out in Japan for a while now, and it is worth the 500 yen. I just hope that when they say "English" that includes the US. No real word on pricing as of yet, but if you wish to get a general idea of what the title is like, feel free to hop over to their page (Japanese, sorry)! It will generate a playable level out of just about any web page. Just try to pick something with a lot of white.
PLAYSTATION®3 software "The Last Guy" (Chinese + English version) is coming on PLAYSTATION®Store soon. [Playstation.com Hong Kong Blog]
