Video - Aion: Tower of Eternity Trailer
NCSoft, the big Korean developer of all things MMO from Lineage to Guild Wars, is been hard at work on its next big MMORPG, Aion: Tower of Eternity. As you can see in the trailer above, the game has fantastic visuals and a stunning landscape, due in major part to the CryEngine that the game uses, the same one used in the FarCry series. The MMO seems to be your standard fantasy MMO, which two factions each ripe with warrior, priest, mage, and scout classes, each class with their own subclasses. One of the big features of the game will be the ability to fly for limited amount of time and having a whole different range of active actions and combat chains to use while airborne.
The game is currently in closed beta in Korea and is due out late this year in Asia and hopefully will be making its way across the sea to the States and Europe in early 2009. Plenty of more trailers are up at Gametrailers for gameplay, classes, combat, and territories. If nothing else you can just sit back and look at the beautiful graphics from all of them.

I hate that I have to turn to Korean made MMORPGs to make an attractive male avatar. Learn a lesson, World of Warcraft. I was never a fan of Guild Wars gameplay, but I could spend hours just staring at the appealing visuals... which might seem a bit 'off' actually.
