Video: Girl Vs. Claw Machine
It may not be DIRECTLY video game related, but this girl has some mad claw machine skills. Seriously, she pwned that thing. Reminds me of my days of working at Denny's and watching the employees use a wire hanger to pull the good stuff out during slow shifts.
This is also precisely why I can never have children. Either I would be rooting the little one on (get the pikachu for daddy!) or I would be a crazed overzealous father pounding on the plexi-glass making idle threats at the tot about what I'm going to do when they get out of there. I've not really decided on what kind of a parent I would be. Slim chance of babies either way.
Interestingly, the girl seems to have left empty handed. I'm sure that her mother had something to do with that.

If I was her sibling, and no adults were around, I probably would have tried to win her with the claw.

So that's how you get the prizes.
HAHA. I used to work at a denny's. on the graveyard shifts, me and one of the fixtures, or counter critters, or just someone who was ALWAYS there would either tip the machine on it's side, use coat hangers, and try to pick the lock on the claw machine. we got many a stuffed animals with the hangers.
one time a manager walked out when one girl was shaking the machine cause it was really full and the girl just kinda froze. the manager was like "you can shake it, just don't break it". interestingly enough the same girl would hit on the dude who maintained the machine and filled it. she got ALOT of stuff that way. she stole the idea from me, of course. that hussy.
I think this video makes me want to have kids. just to teach them to do that. and then say "I don't know where they learned this stuff...NO, I`m not giving back the scooby doo she got from the machine. she exposed a security flaw in your machine, and this is her payment" meanwhile denying the child the toy and holding it myself as if it were my life.
The one thing I did hate was when the machine would break down or eat some money, and people would complain to us.
The managers got tired of having to tell people that they weren't responsible for the machine eating their money, so one day they finally put a note on it saying that it's not our problem. Well, only in nicer words.
I miss working at denny's. kinda. those were some of the funnest times of my life...
