Video: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure!
Don't eat too much sugar, cutesy RPG fans, because there's a whole mouthful of musical sweetness on its way to the Nintendo DS in the form of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, the first RPG musical to come to the DS.
Did you hear that? An RPG musical.
Take the gayest game genre and the gayest stage genre, mix them both together with a storyline that sees a Prince kidnapped rather than a princess, and you have a candidate for Gayest Game of the Year. In a fun way.
It's been eight years since Rhapsody was released for the PSX, and while it didn't earn rave reviews back in 2000, a feature facelift and an extra screen might make it a peachy fit for the DS when Rhapsody arrives on September 23, 2008.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to attend to my vocal warm-ups. My instrument isn't what it used to be.

I still have this game, one of the few PS1 games that has survived the transition to the later consoles. I also know all the songs in it by heart. Yep, I'm a dork.

I don't know if it's the whole music-theme, but I'm getting slight waves of Eternal Sonata from this. That can only be a good thing. XD
Anyone know if they re-recorded the musical scenes? Or if they let you keep the Japanese ones?
