Weekly XBLA Update: 08/06/08

Happy Hump Day, gay gamers and friends! Braid joins us on XBLA this week with its new, dare I say Okamiesque take on the old princess-rescuing platformer. With levels inspired by the canvas rather than the pixels and puzzles that require you to rewind time, Number None Inc. and designer Jonathan Blow have brought this 2006 IDF award winner to the Xbox 360 at long last.
And they're charging 1200 Microsoft Points: art doesn't come cheap, people. (Only sailors.)
Rock Band fans will see the sequel to the first Crue Fest pack - three songs for 240 MP apiece, only one of which is actually performed by the Crue: "Rescue Me" by Buckcherry, "Life is Beautiful" by Sixx:A.M. and "Face Down in the Dirt" by Motley Crue sell for a cool 80MP apiece if bought a-la carte. Also joining us this week is "Toxicity" and "B.Y.O.B." by System of a Down, each 160 apiece.
