Are You America's Next Top Model?
Tyra is well on her way to becoming the next Oprah, with two successful TV shows, even if her attempts to invade other media have been... um... not terribly well-received? ("Shake Ya Body" anyone?) Well, now she's invading the world of videogames with Eidos' announcement that they are developing America's Next Top Model for the Nintendo DS!
You will play one of ten aspiring models competing in various challenges like makeup, fashion, catwalk and photoshoot in the hopes of becoming America's Next Top Model. You'd just better hope Tyra's holding your photo in her hand come panel judging! There's no details in the press release as to whether hunky Nigel will be shooting you, or if Miss Jay will be critiquing your runway walk. Just make sure not to get Tyra upset, because she has never in her life yelled at a girl like that. The makeup screenshot below looks a little horrific — not exactly easy or breezy. And the other shot looks like a photo shoot, and it seems like you'll be doing some kind of pattern tracing to pose. Just a guess though. The only thing you can clearly tell is that you'll be playing this game sideways.
The bad news? It's due out in the UK this November. Nothing about a US release. Which seems weird, seeing as how it's called AMERICA'S Next Top Model. I'm just saying... Which is a shame, because I have to admit that I am totally addicted to this particular guilty pleasure, and would totally play this game. (Well, maybe not in public...)

I would totally play this game, too. Even though I'm largely positive that it's going to be dire - that's how much I love ANTM right now (though I'm much like Wootini; you won't fine me admitting that).
This better come out in the US. Nothing would make me happier than to hear Tyra say "the most unattractive thing in the world to me is a quitter" every time I turn off the game.
Do you win points if you vomit more / eat less while remaining discreet about the whole thing?
I hope Tyra incorporates this game into an episode of the show somehow. She could make the ladies play a level instead of doing an actual runway/photoshoot challenge. It would be wonderfully ridiculous to see replays and still shots from the game up on the judging room screen as Tyra shouts at people for not pressing up-up-A-B-A to smile with their eyes.

Why is there no US release despite it's name?
Well, it's actually Germany's Next Topmodel. Saw it at the Games Convention. It's got a new name for a EU release and, if it sells good, for the US too.
