Condemned 2 Ads Condemned (And Pulled) In The UK
In a bit too late manuver, Condemned 2's advertisement has been pulled in the UK. A mere 5 months after the games release, the Advertising Standards Authority decided that two advertisements were too "offensive and distressing" to remain on broadcast television.
The first ad, with a post-9pm restriction, showed a man punching another and blood splattering on the screen as he was beaten with a club. The second advert, with a post-11pm restriction, in addition to the scenes in the first advert, featured violent sound effects and a voiceover stating: "Where is former agent Thomas? He must be warned, he must know that it's not over."
A total of 9 complaints were registered, irate customers citing that the advertisements "condone violence". Sega attests that the game is intended for mature audiences enjoying the horror genre, something they hoped to reflect in the commercial.
Honestly, this seems more like a political move than anything. Five months? Seriously, the damage is already done there people.

Wow!
A whole 9 complaints? ¬_¬
Why do companies and such always put so much value in the ravings of a few nuts?
