Disgaea Mascot Pulls A Chocobo, Gets Own Game
I'm about twenty hours into my Disgaea 3 adventure (I'll have some of my impressions of the game up tomorrow) and have already found myself falling for its little moogle-type mascots, the Prinnies. So color me excited when I learned this morning that they are following in the footsteps of mascots before them and will be starring in their own game. Developed by Nippon Ichi, the confidence inspiring Prinny: Ore ga Shujinkou de Iinsuka? Translated as Prinny: Is it OK if I'm the Protagonist? Will shirk the Strategy RPG mantle and instead be a good old fashioned 2D action adventure for your PSP. Currently set to be released in Japan on November 20th there has been no word on a release date for other territories but c'mon, even new converts like me want this game!

Doooooood! It better come stateside! They should bring Disgaea 2 to PSP while they're at it too, dood!
Prinnies are pretty bitchin. Disgaea 3 doesn't explain to well on what they are. They are the souls of the dead.
Players of the first Disgaea will remember there was a single pink Prinny also.
But I'm all for this new game. Sign me up doooooood!
