EA Releases Red Alert For Free
In celebration of the thirteen year anniversary of the Command and Conquer franchise, and the promotion of the upcoming Red Alert 3, EA is releasing the original Red Alert for free! That's right. EA released something for FREE.
August 31st, 2008 marks the 13th anniversary of the storied Command & Conquer franchise, which has sold over 25 million copies to date. And to celebrate this milestone and this October's highly anticipated return to the world of Red Alert with Red Alert 3, we are giving away one of the original games that started it all, Command & Conquer Red Alert, for FREE.And because we are also offering Red Alert 2 for free for those who pre-order Red Alert 3 before October 27th, C&C fans...YOU can walk away with Red Alert, Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3 - all for the price of Red Alert 3 ($49.99 standard edition, $64.99 Premier Edition).
You get Red Alert 2 when you pre-order as well, but the first game is free regardless. I know I'm already looking forward to the new game, with the new faction (and George Takai in the awesome new cinematics).

Dammit! Why does my burner not have to work!
And quite the cast of character actors in that there trailer.
@Hodges:oh it's ok! Just use programs like Daemon Tool or alcohol 120% and mount that image!
Download it, played like like crazy. And let me tell you, it felt soooo nostalgic... i miss Westwood...
And as for red alert 3... i say let's wait for the review first. Even you want to preorder it just to get red alert 2 i still say wait.
And what's up with that bikini girl on the cover of red alert 3? Where's Boris, the commando bear!
Hodges, I believe there are ISO loader programs that virtually simulate a CD/DVD drive out there. That could solve your dilemma. :)
Thanks! :)
