Lego Batman Launch Party Attracts Tiny Heroes, Villains
The bf and I were expecting the New York City launch party for Lego Batman, held in the Weston Pavilion at the American Museum of Natural History, to be a swank, Face to Face-caliber event, replete with Michelle Pfeiffer tossing back anti-psychotics in a stunning ballgown.
But when we saw the crowds of kids romping amongst carnival games, we caught wise to the fact that the event was as much "Lego" as it was "Batman" - and once I got my paws on one of the Lego-topped, buttercream-frosted cupcakes I forgot all about my dreams of (admittedly inflated) grandeur.
Also on hand were the folks from PoliteInPublic, who are responsible for the funtastic picture of a certain Tiny Catwoman being arrested in chains by a Batman who, if you look closely, has a tattoo of Black Canary on his arm. Dude gets around.
