Molyneux Gives Fable II A 9, Accused Of Trolling

In an interview with Xbox World 360 Fable II develoepr/cheerleader Peter Molyneux chatted about his past mistakes and whether the new game finally makes good on all of his promises. Molyneux says:
"It's the best, most complete game I've ever worked on. The look is perfect, the interface is fantastic. It's a role-playing game, but where are all the f***ing icons? Aren't you supposed to be cluttering the screen up with mini-maps and the like? Not us.
He's got me there. I very rarely use a minimap in my daily life; then again I also rarely go on quests and return to find my wife shacking up with my neighbor.
Oh and as the title of my post states, Molyneux rated his game a 9 out of 10. I really hope at least one message board out there has exploded into a flame war. So are you looking to pick up Fable II? I never picked up the first game as I didn't have an original XBox until two weeks ago, but I may try go back and see what the fuss was about.

The first Fable wasn't that bad. It was kind of a cross between GTA and Elder Scrolls. I just never got into it.
And don't feel bad about just getting an Xbox. I didn't get one until six months ago, then I sold it, and bought it back. (It now sits unplayed while its younger brother occupies my time.)
May i recommend the PC version? Extended story line and more little mini-game.
As for the second game, can't wait! mini-map or not. I got the extra buck and pre-ordered it. The one that comes with a doll. Evil gay landlord, here i come!
Also Thedoctor, you can stop the act, we know your wife who cheated on you was a cover up just to have some kids. You'll act surprised and divorce her so you can get busy with the shoemaker. And be very happy!
At least that's my plan... I did say i would be evil!
I really liked the first one. I had a house and a husband in no time!
The only problem -- I kept getting disk read errors on my Xbox playing this game and it corrupted the game saves. Needless to say, I never finished it.
I recently picked the first one up again (or rather the extended version I bought at some point after the original) and finished it in preparation for Fable 2.
I really liked the first one (good, but not great) and I'm looking forward to the next one because it looks to be even better.
