Resistance 2 Collector's Edition Coming Your Way In November
An intense season of gaming is upon us! In the next few weeks the triple A titles are going to be rolling put, making gamers have to pick and choose where they are going to spend their money. To make that descision even harder, Sony has announced a Collector's Edition of Resistance 2. Retailing at $79.99, the two disc edition will include:
- An exclusive Chimeran Hybrid action figure with Bullseye weapon created by DC Unlimited
- A double-sided hard-cover Resistance 2 art book covering war-torn America from two unique perspectives.
- Exclusive in-game HVAP Wraith multiplayer weapon skin
- Copy of Resistance 2 with special edition cover artwork selected by the fans
The bonus DVD will also come with a number of features including:
- A preview into the upcoming Resistance novel, "Resistance: The Gathering Storm" by well-known science fiction author William Dietz.
- "America Forever Lost", Behind The Scenes video of Resistance 2 with Insomniac Games
- "Shattered History" Resistance chronology video -- provides a visual guideline from the earliest days of the Chimera invasion to the current storyline.
- Digital copy of Issue #0 of the Resistance comic book series published by Wildstorm.
Sounds like quite the package! Personally, my budget doesn't allow for much Collector's Edition purchasing and heaven knows I am running out of room for the sweet swag that comes with it. Still, it's nice to have the option for those of us that like exclusives and loads of knick-knacks for our shelves and desks.

I'm normally sort of down on these sort of deals, but the Chimera figure sort of clinches the deal for me (oddly enough, the Big Daddy figure clinched the deal for my Bioshock special edition when I had my 360)...

hmmm, sounds pretty tempting. That book info sounds nice. I'd def. look into the book when it comes out.
This sounds like a lot of content for only $20 more... It's a tough month though and Gears 2 has me sold on the 140 lancer replica w/ free game (lol). We shall see....
