With all the high profile games on the horizon, Rockstar wants to make sure you haven't forgotten about Grand Theft Auto IV by giving you another reason to visit Liberty City. Starting on Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28, Xbox LIVE Gold members can participate in the Grand Theft Auto IV LIVE Weekend. If you register for Play & Win, you will automatically be entered in a drawing just by playing with friends on Xbox LIVE. You could win some Rockstar swag, and be entered in the drawing for a grand prize package that includes an Xbox 360 Elite console, 12 months of Xbox LIVE and 4,000 Microsoft Points!
Just register for the sweepstakes online here before September 28 at 11:59 EDT or register via Xbox LIVE Marketplace by downloading the free GTA IV LIVE Weekend Gamer Picture by the same deadline. Also, members of the game's development team will be online between 3 and 9 PM on Friday, September 26 to go toe-to-toe with fans. In addition to Microsoft's prizes, there's additional prizes available through the Rockstar Games' Social Club contest. Just log into your Social Club account between Friday, September 19 and September 28 to enter.
I'll probably just download the free pic to enter the sweepstakes, since I never really got into the GTA IV multiplayer... but this is probably a good idea to keep GTA in people's minds. I know Rock Band 2 has been pretty much stuck in my 360 for the past week!
