'TEEN Sex Beast' Inspired By GTA
Yes, my dear readers, you've read the title correctly. TEEN sex beast, all caps. And despite my fondest hopes upon seeing those words myself, this sex beast... excuse me, this TEEN sex beast is not the latest successor to the world of online pornography.
Rather, he is Britain's 19 year old Ryan Chinnery, pictured. According to UK tabloid The Sun, young Mr. Chinnery attacked four women because he thought they were GTA-style prostitutes. Witness pulp journalism to which I can only aspire:
A TEEN sex beast attacked four women in an imitation of violent computer game Grand Theft Auto, a court heard yesterday. Ryan Chinnery, 19, prowled streets in his car targeting females he thought were prostitutes after becoming obsessed with the video nasty...
And the court was told he may have been influenced by the virtual reality game, in which a character drives around on "missions" -- including approaching prostitutes who can be beaten up. A copy of Grand Theft Auto was found at his home by police...
Prosecutor Eleanor Laws said Chinnery's love of Grand Theft Auto "may go some way to explaining his attitude towards women". She said: "Prostitutes in it can be subjected to violence. "There may be some connection with the defendant admitting spending a lot of time playing that game."
Assaulting women - or anybody - is wrong. But for the record, beating up women who have been mistaken for sex workers is no worse than beating up actual sex workers: both are loathsome, and neither should be excused by playing a game.

The Sun is one of the most despicable publications on this side of the Atlantic. It's excessively stupid and asinine and I would guess that it's "reader"ship can barely read at all.
As a general rule, anything - ANYTHING - they report should NEVER be taken at face value or as a fact. Ever.
We're the United Kingdom, no criminal is responsible for their own actions, at all, ever, under any circumstances.
Something can always be blamed for your own failings, from foreigners to computer games, to Jews, dwarfs and Cockney wide boys, everybody is a scapegoat and nobody gets justice.
Come to Britain, we can guarantee stabbings, muggings and severe racial hatred, especially towards the Jewish community, or Glasgow where you'll get nutted for not been from Glasgow, and that reason only.
Yeah, I'm a self loathing Brit.
If that's what passes for a "sex beast" in England, I'm glad I'm on this side of the Atlantic.
The sun is stil pathetic after all these years...the boy never claimed it was GTA they just assumed because they found it inhis house.
Oh and that Glasgow comment is a load of shite Neo. If it was then why was it rated one of the top spots in the UK for tourists? Toursit meaning that they do not come from Glasgow.

i don't what to say to this. i'm not shocked a video game was blamed for something. i am kind of shocked that someone claimed his attitude toward women can be explained by him playing this game. really?
Ahhhh, another stellar piece of investigative journalism from that most trust-worthy of sources, The Sun - the "newspaper" that decided news itself wasn't interesting enough so they'd stick a topless 'beauty' on Page 3, along with enough sex line ads to make Peter Stringfellow blush....
Seriously, don't take anything for granted from that rag - 98% of it's stories are made up or over-hyped nonsense: at least the Daily Sport (which boasts a page 3 girl on pages 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 etc and headlines such as "Aliens turned my son into a fish finger") makes no pretense about it's stories being nonsense!
