"Thank You Mario, But Our Princess Is In Another Castle" Tune
I have never heard of The Mountain Goats or Kaki King, but apparently, the band and the artist teamed up to record an EP called Black Pear Tree. And on that EP is the lovely little ditty entitled "Thank You Mario But Our Princess Is In Another Castle." It really is quite sweet. "The song is sung from the point of view of Toad," says John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats, who plays piano on the track. Please to enjoy! The Mountain Goats do amazing things with their music. everything they touch.
So I was all excited, since I like both Kaki King, and the Mountain Goats. And now it looks like it's one of those vinyl EPs. I'm pretty sure my DVD-ROM doesn't respond well to those. Dang.
