Weekly XBLA Update - 09/03/08
This week on XBLA, the greatest question of all time shall be answered: If pirates and ninja face each other in dodgeball, who will be left to guard against the inevitable zombie uprising? Maybe it won't be answered but the oft delayed Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball hits the console today for 800 points. Also look for Shred Nebula (800 points) to satisfy the drought of top down shooters we've been experiencing for almost a week now. If you're a little tight on cash you can always drop 400 points on Gin Rummy, or you know, buy a deck of cards for two bucks and visit your grandmother because today is her birthday.
I know I'll be booting up Rock Band this week to check out The PAX Collection which for 240 points includes "Shhh...." , "Skullcrusher Mountain", and "Livin' at the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe". Each track is also available on its own for 80 points. Those are some major geek tracks, so of course be careful about playing them around the uninitiated. Next thing you know you've got a friend who won't stop singing "Still Alive". Trust me, it happened.
