Wootini's Weekly Whenever Wii Fit Update

Hey there guys! It's been a while since I've stopped writing my weekly Wii Fit updates, but I thought I'd pop in and let you know that I hit my second deadline. And by hit it, I mean slammed into it like a brick wall. Yeah, I failed. The proof is right there in the screenshot. Sigh. On the plus side, just like the lack of fanfare when I reached my goal ahead of schedule, there wasn't any real chastising when I failed. After the way it kind of scolds you for missing a day or two, I feared the worst, but it was surprisingly gentle about it.
See, I'd been so good about exercising every day, and really watching what I was eating. Now, I don't know if I started slacking because I wasn't going to have to post my current weight for the entire internets to see, or if I had actually hit my average weight, but I'd pretty much stalled out after losing those 25 pounds. For three weeks, my weight fluctuated around 157-159. It wasn't until the week after Labor Day when I actually started to see another downturn, but it was too little, too late. Although to be fair, I only missed the mark by about a pound and a half. Of course, Wii Fit insisted I set another deadline for myself, and suggested I try to make it more reasonable, so I made my new goal to lose five more pounds in two months. That oughta be long enough!
I've really gotten into running, and do about two or three miles through my neighborhood. And before going for a run, I do my Wii Fit daily body test and a couple exercises. Usually just the plank and the push-up and side plank. Maybe a twist or something if I have enough time. I've stopped doing the jackknife crunches in favor of my old Abs of Steel videotape I dragged out of the box in the closet. It's just a little more focused. But I still work out every day. I felt like switching from my Wii Fit aerobics to the actual jogging made my weight loss slow down because actual jogging is much better exercise, but then at the same time, you can't do as much because of that. But now I feel like I'm getting into a groove, so we'll see if I can get down a little bit more. (Remember, the game insists my ideal weight is 145, which is completely unrealistic unless I turn anorexic or bulimic, so that'll never happen. I like food too much, and I'm not a big fan of throwing up!) But I'm as surprised as anyone that playing Wii Fit did exactly what Miyamoto intended, which was to make people aware of their health and fitness. I may not be playing Wii Fit itself as much as I used to, but I wouldn't have gotten where I am without it!

Hmm... like they say on fark this thread is useless without pics :p
May I recommend you buy a copy of the Ab Diet? I have a copy of it and using the routines suggested actually works when you stick to it. One way to get rid of fat is to cut out stress. It produces cortisol, which produces more fat around the gut.
Check out http://stress.about.com/od/stresshealth/a/cortisol.htm for more info. I like the suggestion about sex as a way to decrease your cortisol levels :)
I think you still came quite close, so tell WiiFit to stfu :p
