Did You Know iTunes Sells The Silent Hill Soundtracks?
Because I totally didn't. I only have the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack because it came bundled with the game (more games should do that). I loved the music in the first two, but I wasn't eager to shell out import prices. As I was eagerly anticipating the release of Silent Hill: Homecoming, I gave it a shot and searched for Silent Hill in the iTunes Store. Lo and behold, there was Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4: The Room. All for just $9.99 each! A veritable bargain! (Well, except for SH4 — I never took to that soundtrack)
The iTunes store also has a bunch of Castlevania soundtracks as well as a whole buttload of Final Fantasy albums. I really appreciate their expanding the store so fans of import music don't have to track these CD's down in out-of-the-way shops and pay two or three times the price to get their sweaty little hands on them. Granted, this might be old news to most of you, but like I said, I had no idea, so I thought I'd share the news... even if it's old.

HA! I just tried this myself yesterday. My burnt copy of the SH3 soundtrack has long disappeared and I need my "You're Not Here" fix, dammit!
Makes me wish the Zune Marketplace carried this kind of stuff, :( I can't even find the Halo 3 soundtrack! (I may not be the biggest fan of the games, but damn it if I don't think the music is beautiful.)

Torrents anybody!!! You get them all! I love Metal Gear Solid OSTs and go them all, including the remixes from OCremix.org ; )
Torrents are fine and dandy, but some people are fond of, you know, supporting the company which continues to pay such artists.
that having been said, considering how unobtrusive Apple's DRM is (burn the tracks as an audio cd and re-import, and oh look, it's gone!) and the fact that these are only $10, whether you buy them from Amazon or from iTunes, it's still a helluva lot better than the import fees you pay for what is a Hong Kong bootleg half of the time anyways.
I'm glad you can buy video game soundtracks from Itunes but I would love it even more if you could buy songs from other countries, I keep trying to buy Japanese songs, only to be rejected because I don't have an address in said country.

they even got into the habit of scanning your artwork for you, so your music doesn't have to go about naked.
Yeah, got my SH sound tracks on Zune. (cause i HATE apple!)
