DisneyDanceRevolution

You know how we told you about that SingStar game for the PS2 that was going to feature Disney songs? Well, not one to feel left out, Nintendo is about to get a new Disney-fied music game of its own because Konami just announced DanceDanceRevolution: Disney Grooves for the Wii.
"DanceDanceRevolution®:Disney Grooves marks the third time we have worked with Disney on a DanceDanceRevolution title," said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "However, this is the first one that utilizes the unique capabilities of the Wii to offer an ultimate interactive dancing experience that is certain to thrill fans of Disney and the DanceDanceRevolution franchise."
Dancing along to 40 Disney tunes will be popular characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald and Daisy Duck. Completing dance challenges will unlock more and more music. And completing goals in a new mode called Groove World will unlock new stages, songs and costumes. That's right, I said costumes. You will be able to customize your own Mii in special Disney costumes in the new Dressing Room mode. How awesome is that? Oh, there's also a My Studio mode which will let you take pictures of your customized character or strike a pose with classic Disney characters. I would assume that these images can then be shared via the Wii-mail system, but I don't know for sure.
There's also the standard DDR format and Workout, Training and Advanced modes, but I'm wondering if because this is aimed at kids, it'll be a little easier. I mean, for me. I'm sure there are plenty of eight-year-olds who can kick my ass at DDR. I just can't keep up! At any rate, the game is due out in March of 2009, and a bundled version will include a dance pad in case you don't already have one.
