Fan Translated Game Gets Fan Made Guide

mother3g.jpg

We can thank highly organized and devoted fan efforts for the recent translation of Mother 3, but what happens if you need a little (or a lot) of help making your way through Nowhere Island? Thanks to another highly organized and devoted fan effort you can get your own fan-made Strategy Guide! It may not be shipping now, but come January of next year you'll be able to quickly flip through a rather spiffy looking book filled with character portraits made with clay, information about every creature you'll face, maps of every area of the you'll see and all done up with series' signature sense of off-beat humor. To make the deal even sweeter, anyone that preorders the guide gets a spiffy little Courage Badge keychain!

Still skeptical of the fan creation? The forces behind the project are making the first chapter available online for free! How cool is that? Aside from their near inhuman commitment to a series that hasn't had a release over here for well over a decade, these guys are pretty friendly, don't they? Head on over to take a lot or preorder this fancy fan formulation.

This guide looks amazing and I sure hope everyone orders one. It is obviously done by people who love the game. I wish every strategy guide had so much thought put into it.

This really is amazing --- and a testament to the dedication of Earthbound fans. It almost brings a tear to my eye to think about the fact that normal people worked so hard to make the rest of us so happy.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
