Hasselhoff In So Much PAIN He Sings

David Hasselhoff is coming to your PS3. You read that right, David Hasselhoof, and yes I'm sorry. I don't know how I let this story elude me for a day. I'd like to think that the internets conspired against me, or that KITT used his smokescreen on my vision. Whatever it may have been, I'm all over Hasselhoff now. Turns out that the game PAIN has another updating coming up called the Movie Studio in which you can 'play' PAIN inside a movie studio; however, while you get to be the director in the game, a good movie always needs a fantastic actor. Barring that, you get one that looks good and can sing songs in German, so enter the Hasselhoff. That's right, in the new addition to PAIN your rag doll of choice can now be Mr. Baywatch himself. Feel free to toss him against walls, off of buildings, through windows, and apparently spank him with a monkey since he seems to like that (or so the blog posting says).
That's all fine and dandy, but the big news is that they got the Hoff to sing for the game too. That's right, David Hasselhoff getting back to his roots. What's even more exciting is that he isn't singing one of his old 'hits', he's doing a cover, and of the Culture Club no less. The Hoff did a cover of "Do you Really Want to Hurt Me" by Culture Club for the PAIN game. So now as you launch David off the tallest building with no stunt double, you can hear him lovingly question if you want to make him cry, (Yes, Davie, I do). The Movie Studio content for PAIN will be out on the PSN on Nov 6th, so look to get your Hoff off then.
A Very Special Message from David Hasselhoff [playstation.blog]

Wow, that's just kinda sad. I mean, it's like he's making fun of the youtube videos by making a shitload of money selling his likeness and voice to what basically amounts to a bad (read: almost funny) youtube video.
I have a love/hate thing with Pain but I might actually spend the money on The Hoff character. If they were to do Britney Spears or Madonna I would probably be a sucker and pick them up too.
