Japan's Club Nintendo Coming To North America

North American Nintendo fans rejoice! Today, Nintendo has announced that Club Nintendo is finally making it's way to the West. Club Nintendo, the Holy Grail of all things Nintendo, is a program in Jaoan that allows fans to earn points by buying Nintendo games, registering them, participating in surveys, etc. These points can then be traded in for what can only be described as some truly amazing swag. Western gamers were constantly left salivating over the many treats their Japanese counterparts were constantly getting their hands on and now they will be able to get them without resorting to exorbitant prices on ebay. Club Nintendo is expected to launch sometime by the end of this year.

Don't worry, Nintendo. European (and Australian) gamers will still worship you and throw money at you despite your lack of release dates and year-long delays, in addition to paying more than any other region in the world.

Yay! After far too long! I'm so excited! I need some Yoshi-gear!
I just hope it's retroactive for games that have already been registered with Nintendo.com. Or at least that it will let me re-register the games I've already bought. If not I guess I can understand from a financial point on their side, but it would be great to start out Club Nintendo with a hefty supply of credit.
We have had club nintendo in the uk for years,and we don't pay more for games anymore or wait 6 months for games, Europe is there biggest market now
@NaviFairy
This is my concern as well. I have a ton of games and consoles registered on there. While I am happy they are finally offering the states this service I will be really disappointed if they aren't retroactive.
@Jmf69
What planet are you living on? Are you actually serious?
Oh, you're a fanboy. Never mind, carry on.
