Legend... Dary: Neil Patrick Harris And Will Arnett Cast In Matt Hazard
What happens when the coolest laser tag enthusiast meets the OC's greatest magician illusionist? I'm not sure yet, but we'll get to find out when Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard is released in the first quarter of next year. D3 has just announced that their spoof/homage to the games of yesterday is set to feature the superb voice acting talents of out actor Neil Patrick Harris, of How I Met Your Mother fame, and Will Arnett, Arrested Development's Job and the voice behind the best fake trailer featured in Grindhouse. While Arnett takes on the Duke Nukem-esque title role, Harris is set to play a character known as Wallace "Wally" Wellesly, president of the giant videogame publisher "Marathon Megasoft." It's still uncertain how this will come together, but it sounds like a perfect role for Harris to suit up for.
From the lovingly detailed faux-fan sites to the invented history behind the character, D3 certainly knows how to pique my interest. I just hope that it'll be the most bodaciously awesome action game since Haz-Matt Carts. Oh wait.... That wasn't a real game.
