Lick Lips Early, Get Free Stuff!

Regular readers here know how much I love free stuff. I actually have to talk to Fruit Brute about having an extension built to the castle so I can have more room to store my stash. So I don't know about you guys, but I'm a little excited for the Xbox 360 release of Lips. Not having a PS3, I can't enjoy SingStar the way a good gay gamer should. But Lips sounds like a pretty cool alternative. Hey, you can use your own music, and the microphone lights up! It's sparkly!
And now I find out that if you pre-order Lips from Amazon.com or GameStop, you will receive a code that will allow you to download one free song every week for two months. That's eight free songs to add to your repertoire! The only catch is that the songs will be chosen for you by the Zune team. It also says they'll be available through the Zune Marketplace, which I'm not actually sure how you're supposed to access with your 360. Oh well, I'm sure the details will get worked out before long. No word on what the free bonus tracks will be yet, but hey -- they're free!

... WTF is "Lips"?
Seconded.
awesome headline!!
Already enjoying Singstar, but thanks!
First I need to see how this works... especially with using your own music. Is it going to be like that P.O.S. Xbox Music Maker??
I've had high hopes for Sony's Singstore, but it's offerings consistently disappoint.
Lips is going to allow MP3 players like the Zune to be plugged into your xbox... and if the song lyrics are on the live database it will download the lyrics for you.
My thought... Preorder bonus... download to zune... plug into xbox.
