LittleBigProblem Solved: Game Patched, Servers Now Online

lbppplanet.jpg

Moving on from the initial hiccups involved with LittleBigPlanet, Sony has fixed the "problem" which resulted in a poorly timed recall. Reviewers and fortunate shoppers alike were greeted with a version 1.02 update this weekend, effectively removing the potentially offending material from the game entirely. And just moments ago, the LittleBigPlanet servers went officially online. Hopefully the crush of anxious LBP players won't crash them! Now go on out there and be the best Sackboy (or girl) you can be.

For me, at least, the servers have been terrible, initially. Huge long load times, the game freezing altogether while accessing whatever it accesses online, and simply taking 15-20 minutes sometimes to finish loading a player level. After that, I was glad when the connection failed utterly and normal offline gameplay was restored. I have a bit of trepidation about going back online, currently.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
