Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe Kollector's Edition Includes Komic Book... And More!

Are you excited for th release of Midway's Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe? Excited enough to want to pony up some extra cash to get the "Kollector's Edition"? Well, here's what you'll be getting: Box art specially painted by award-winning artist Alex Ross (apologies for the size of the image with the article -- it was the best I could find at such short notice), special packaging, an exclusive print deigned by Ross, and bonus making-of video content. Also included is a 16-page comic book sketched by Mortal Kombat co-creator John Tobias and published by DC Comics that promises to reveal the "shocking, universe-shattering events" that lead into the game's story mode. (Which is hilarious, because it seems like if you just play the game, you won't understand what the hell brought these two groups of characters together to kick each others' asses)
Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe will be out on November 10 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the Kollector's Edition is only an extra ten bucks, coming in at $69.99. Also, if you pre-order the Kollector's Edition from GameStop, you'll also get a free lithograph. On the other hand, if you pre-order the regular edition from GameStop, you get a free T-shirt. Which I would totally want more, except that the art on the GameStop website makes it look a little jank. (Unless it's just concept art...)
