Rumorama: Milla Jovovich In Upcoming Clock Tower Film?
First it was a rumor, then it was confirmed, then there is denials. I don't know where to sit on the issue so I'm just going to stuff this in the rumor catagory for now, but it is the buzz that Milla Jovovich will be toplining the upcoming Clock Tower film.
She is set to play the role of Alyssa Barron, a girl committed to a psychiatric hospital. The film is based around the story of Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within (or Clock Tower III: Ghost Hand in Japan). Milla will be joined by cast members Brittany Snow and Alyssa Jayne Hale.
Now, for my personal analysis. The main character was named Alyssa Hale, and I've never heard of an actress of that name (although one does exist). This makes me think that there was a miscommunication. Brittney is more likely playing the star role (Alyssa Hale). As far as Milla's role? I'm guessing she is going to be be a rewritten version of Mr. Bates, Alyssa's evil alter ego. That is assuming this is all true. I don't really see Milla pulling off the role of a 17 year old girl. Sorry sweetie, you're getting a bit old.
Filming begins next month.

The Clock Tower series is my favorite survival-horror series. It's odd that they would want to base the movie off of Clock Tower: Ghost Head, the one Clock Tower that was a bit of a disappointment. Eeeh..they better not fuck it up.
I dunknow, I was personally more disappointed with Sunsoft's addition to the series.

HELL NO! NOT HER AGAIN! I liked her in some of her early movies, but it did stop when the whole RE-movies started. GEEZ!
Yeah so - funny story - I am Alyssa Jayne Hale ... yeah, the one rumored to be cast in a movie about Alyssa Hale ... which, while hilarious, is not true (at least to my knowledge). I am a Boston based actress and producer and I'm pretty sure someone, somewhere along the way made a long legged leap that connected the Alyssa Hale CHARACTER with the Alyssa Jayne Hale ACTOR. But I mean heck ... I'll take the added exposure ;)
