Star Ocean: The Last Hope Dated For Release!
I'll admit it, I loved Star Ocean, and its subsequent sequels. I'm talking the SNES game here people. I loved its crazy voice track, its compression chip, the fact that it was a massive title. I even loved Star Ocean: Till the End of Time with the crazy 4D universe stuff. You know what I'm talking about.
The latest (earliest?) installment, Star Ocean: The Last Hope (not to be mistaken with Star Wars: A New Hope) was announced not so long ago, and it has thankfully been dated March 3, 2009 for simultaneous releases across North America. The story takes place around 10 S.D. before the original title, fleshing out the exodus from Earth into the "Star Ocean" in search of a new home.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope will follow the play style much like the previous games, with the addition of a 4 person party battles and the addition of a "Rush" gauge. The series has always been known for its action oriented real time battle system so hopefully these new additions only add to the system.

Arrrg. Its, dude, Its. Its sequels. Its track. Its chip. Its battle system.
It's not that hard. Seriously.
this game series is so complicated that the fun is literally drained from it. i mean attacks that deplete HP and MP. so you have to always keep an eye on the meters and whatnot.
Addition? It had 4 person parties in all but Till The End Of Time!
Also: Goooosh I can't wait. I think it's incredibly fun
